Anton believes that everyone on the planet could co-create their built environment using games and digital fabrication. This drives his work as a research associate at the Digital Design Unit (DDU) at the TU Darmstadt and as the founder of AWARE — Studio for Architecture. He initiated the platform 20.000 BLOCKS as a means to integrate collaborative architectural design and fabrication.
Ben’s passion is Innovation in Education. His work as a game designer aims to bring games into the world curriculum. He co-organizes the Frankfurt Independent Developer scene, bringing together unique and talented people. As one of the core members of Invent the World, Ben designs and runs game-based Holiday programs for children in Australia.
Marios pursues a Master in Architecture in Milan where he also works as a freelancer. After completing his Bachelor in Architecture at the University of Brighton he worked at Sauerbruch Hutton Architects in Berlin. He is the founder of studio messiosmarios that explores design ideas through collaboration and optimisation.
Max is a Master student in Architecture at the Technical University of Berlin with a keen eye on collaborative design and the use of data and information from the targeted users. He is co-founder of Form Follows You, an office focused on user-generated architecture through digital collaboration and representation.
Alban is a freelance game designer, illustrator and all-around artist. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Fachhochschule Rhein-Main. His portfolio spans from comic projects, illustration and web design to pixel art and game design. Alban is actively engaged in the German Indie-game scene.
After losing most of his hearing in 2012, the topic of inclusion of the disabled became a big concern for him. In his free time he teaches game design to kids and teens.
Lorena is currently studying Animation and Game Design at the Mediencampus Dieburg of Hochschule Darmstadt. She focuses mainly on animating assets that others and/or she herself created.
Sebastian became a master carpenter at the age of 23 and his first thought always is “Could I build this out of wood?”. He currently studies architecture at the TU Darmstadt. His interests lie in making, digital technologies and robotic construction.
Jörg completed his bachelor in Systems Engineering in the field of plastics technology in 2009. He worked as a project manager in the furniture industry. Since 2014 he studies architecture at the TU Darmstadt where he explores the link between computational analysis and digital fabrication.

IBA Heidelberg and is built on the 20.000 BLOCKS platform by the
Digital Design Unit (DDU) at Technische Univesität Darmstadt. It is made possible by
